【前書き】
This song was written as a response to those who seem to be always moving forward, always “in control.”
But motion can be an illusion, and speed can be a disguise.
From someone who knows what it’s like to freeze mid-journey,
this is a question thrown into the wind:
Are you really moving, or just afraid to stop?
この詩は、「常に前へ進み、常に“自分の意志”で動いているように見える人たち」への反応として書きました。
その動きは幻かもしれないし、スピードは仮面かもしれない。
旅の途中で立ちどまったことのある者として、風に向かって問いを投げかけた詩です。
——君は本当に動いているのか？ それとも、立ち止まるのが怖いだけなのか？

You punch the clock, you check the list
Another day you won’t admit exists
You call it motion, dressed in speed —
But what you chase is what they say you need

You took the path they traced in chalk
High scores, safe job, silent walk
A nameplate shines, a pension near —
Still whispering like someone else could steer

Looks like you’re standing still
Behind the noise, behind your will
But maybe you’re just holding tight
To something lost without a fight


You say you move to stay alive
But are you living, or just survive?


Are you satisfied?
Or just too tired to ask you’re why?


You laugh at those who’ve dropped the role
But you’ve been playing since you had control
You trade your days for calm and pay —
I know, I’ve done the same halfway

Looks like you’re standing still
While running hard to dodge the chill
But sometimes stillness is a shield
For hearts that never got to heal

Are you satisfied?
If yes, what are you satisfied with?
Are you sure it’s not a line you’ve memorized?
Are you happy?
If yes, what are you happy with?
Is it peace, or is it something disguised?
Are you satisfied?
Are you happy?

”Looks Like You’re Standing Still”（君は止まってるように見える）
訳：De Garassie the 4th　出涸し文四郎

君はタイムカードを押し、リストを確認する
君が存在を認めようとしない日々が、また一日
それを「動いている」と呼ぶけれど、スピードをまとっているだけ
本当に追いかけているのは、彼らが必要だと言ったものだ

君はチョークで引かれた道をそのまま歩いた
良い成績、安定した仕事、静かな足取り
名前の刻まれたプレートが輝き、退職も近い
でも心のどこかで、誰か別の人が運転しているかのように囁いている


君は止まって見える
騒音の向こうで、自分の意志の向こうで
でも、もしかすると君はただ必死にしがみついているのかもしれない
戦わずに失った何かに


君は「動き続けてこそ生きている」と言うけど
それって本当に“生きてる”のか？ それともただ“生き延びてる”だけ？

君は満足してるのか？
それともただ、問いかけることに疲れてるだけなのか？

君は、演技をやめた者たちを笑っている
でも君は、ずっと前から演じ続けてる
平穏と給料のために日常を差し出し
そしてその理由が消えていくのを不思議がってる
……わかるよ、僕も途中までは同じことをしてたから


君は止まって見える
冷たさを避けるために必死に走りながら
でも時に、“静止”は盾になる
癒されなかった心を守るための


君は満足してるのか？
もしそうなら、何に満足しているんだ？
それは本当に、君が心から選んだ言葉か？
君は幸せか？
もしそうなら、何に幸せを感じているんだ？
それは平和か？ それとも偽られた感情か？
君は——満足してるか？
君は——幸せか？


【後書き】
Not everyone rolls like a stone.
Some of us stop halfway, confused by the noise or hurt by the fall.
This song isn’t an accusation—
It’s a reflection from one who knows the weight of stillness,
and what it means to carry it quietly.
すべての人が「転がる石」になれるわけじゃない。
途中で立ち尽くし、雑音に惑い、転んで傷つく者もいる。
この詩は非難ではなく、静止の重みを知っている者からの鏡のような問いかけです。
その重さを、静かに抱えてきた者の歌です。
